Miranda Pugh, Of Counsel

Miranda Pugh is Of Counsel at Needham & Associates, where her practice focuses on Oil and Gas Title Examination.  Miranda brings with her years of Oil and Gas Law and Real Estate Law experience.  Prior to Law school, she served as the Director of Development for the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences at The University of Tulsa where she was responsible for raising millions of dollars annually to support scholarships, building projects and University endowments. 

 

Miranda obtained her J.D., with honors, from The University of Tulsa College of Law.  She received distinguished awards including the CALI Award for Criminal Law, Trial Skills Competitor of the Year, Student Bar Association Delegate and was also named a Chesapeake Energy Scholar.  Upon graduation from the University of Tulsa College of Law, Miranda became President of a Tulsa based Technology company servicing the oil and gas industry, leaving that company in 2016 to begin her own successful oil and gas law practice.     

 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Miranda has spent years in volunteer service toward education and conservation.  After completing her undergraduate degree, she served as a middle school English teacher in Ombalantu, Namibia for seven months and has continued her commitment to global education and conservation as the longtime Chairman of the board and Fundraising Director for Think Elephants International.
